@10Charisteas Yes, It used to anyways, we got it fixed, problem was our wiring, turns out DSL hates complicated wiring…lol It works best if you have the most direct rout from the gateway to the service box.

XohshitztonysbackX May 9, 2010 at 5:13 am

I thought you need att wireless home phone to get online though? according to the tv ad

Jackmiles2006 May 9, 2010 at 6:09 am

You can just use any normal DSL Modem. They’ll run a phone line to your home, but you dont have to have phone service , they’ll just put DSL through it.

XohshitztonysbackX May 9, 2010 at 6:43 am

How much is the dryline dsl modem?

Jackmiles2006 May 9, 2010 at 7:41 am

no, you don’t have to have Home Telephone Service. They have Dryline DSL.

Lo que tienes que hacer es quitar la caja donde conectas tu filtro y poner otra. Ya a de estar muy vieja y los cables estan aguados. Por eso tienes que conectar la muy seguido.

JMS06723 May 9, 2010 at 8:14 am

no you dont need a home phone its your choice

XohshitztonysbackX May 9, 2010 at 9:02 am

I have a question, do I need home phone to connect online?

Not sure how wireless internet works with att

hypershrimp May 9, 2010 at 9:15 am

get into the default gateway. The wep key is underneath. As long as something is connected wirelessly, the light will come on.

hypershrimp May 9, 2010 at 10:10 am

Yeah it’s a common problem with this modem. I’ve seen the pin inside the modem to be loose also. BUT the power cord is an issue. Another reason the red light will come on is if you have it in a powerbar that is consuming too much energy. Worked in the field. Seen it all.
